Congratulations to Silas Vickery on placing at State! Today he mounts his State Plate on the Red Mountain Wrestling Wall of Fame. With Silas placing he keeps the Red Mountain Streak alive. Red Mountain has the distinction of producing at least one State Placer every single year since the school the school opened in 1988 with out exception!

Big shout out to all of our wrestlers and coaches that made this freestyle season possible. Our 14u boys did an exceptional job this past weekend at state with 1 champ, 1 runner up, and 2 placers. Julian thank you for keeping these kids sharp all spring. Can’t wait until these guys hit the HS scene!

Congratulations Girls at the Last Samurai Tournament today! Leila & Jalysa placed 1st in both Freestyle & Folkstyle, Layla placed 1st in Folkstyle & 3rd in Freestyle while Miracle placed 3rd in Freestyle. LetsGoLadyLionWrestlers!
In the Boys Division Aidan took 2nd and Tua took 3rd in Folkstyle.

Great day for the ladies! Leila Millanes won both styles Freestyle and Folkstyle at the American Gladiator. While Emma Vickery and Layla Hartman won the Skyline Freestyle Tournament and Yareth Salazar placed 2nd. Miracle Riley and Marie Graces wrestled tough as well.

Red Mountain hit Skyline today to sharpen our freestyle skills and came away with a strong 2nd place team finish.

Big shoutout to standout freshman Liam Davis for taking 1st in the 16U 150 lb division and placing 3rd in Juniors 150 lb division.
