This year I promised myself I’d focus on becoming the healthiest I’ve been mentally AND physically. Small, consistent steps in the right direction creates lasting change. Thanks to the trainers at for keeping me focused on my goals and thanks to my kiddos for motivating me to be a better version of myself every day for them.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. To be honest, I haven’t had much to say… of course depression and anxiety will do that to you. It pulls a veil over your life and makes everything feel really dark and hopeless. I’m not sure how long it pulled me under this last time, but I know that for the first time in a REALLY long time — it doesn’t feel like I’m drowning. So that’s a win. I’ve also worked out more in the past two weeks than I have in months. It never fails me. ✨Movement is medicine✨
For a long time, my inability to perform in the gym at the level I was at a few years ago left me feeling more depressed and defeated. It’s true what they say, comparison is the thief of joy… even when that comparison is against your former self. I’m actively working on that. Regardless of my current physical shape, I’ve chosen to remind myself each day that Movement is Medicine — And each day when I practice that mantra, my day feels a little bit brighter. ☀️

One crucial thing I've learned in the past 2.5 months since becoming a mom... this right here. 🙌🏼🙌🏼 I'm better in every role I play when I make taking care of myself a priority. Being back in the gym both as a trainer and as someone who is focused on their own fitness journey has really helped to make me feel more like MYSELF and not just a mom (or milk machine) 😂 Don't neglect the things that make you feel whole. Put yourself back on top of that Christmas tree and shine like the star that you are ✨ Everything else will fall into place.
