Been a while. Currently working on some bass flies. Weightless style curly tail worm with wiggle tail. Fastach clip allows for quick tail changes. 4/0 Ahrex PR320. Braided core tail section means more movement, creates a uniform body, and easily collapses for better hookups. Thinking about opening up an online shop again 🤔

Hello to everyone! First I want to thank all of you for following/liking this page. I know it's been kinda inactive, but that's mostly due to real life stuff. Autumn always means pretty colors.

Still one of my most memorable catches. While carp fishing, I was explaining to what a flathead catfish looks like. As we were walking back to our cars, I noticed a log, that just didn't look like a log. Quickly tying on a heavier leader (10lb was the heaviest I had on me) and a chartreuse clouser, I dropped the fly in front of the fish's face. Meanwhile, Sam is still trying to figure out what I was doing. The first pass proved nothing. The second pass of the fly, I felt the fly get sucked in and my flyrod tip bent heavily. 40min later, I was able to hold the biggest flathead I still have ever landed. Of all things, on a fly rod. Since then, that canal has been drained twice, and unfortunately this fish (and the two others that made this one look small) are no longer there. Sorry for the long read but thank you if you stayed.
