Congratulations to Sequoia Charter student-athlete Orlando Cooper on being recognized for his contributions to the Thunder Charities Leadership Academy Youth of the Year by the Boys and Girls Club of the Valley. Orlando consistently demonstrates exemplary leadership on and off campus, bringing distinction to himself, his family, Sequoia Charter School, and the football team. Well done, Orlando.

Orlando was also named Sequoia Charter Football Player of the Game for week 1. His three sacks and six solo tackles led the defense against a strong opponent. We look forward to his continued impact this season.
