Less than a month after their very first tournament together (and for many of them, their very first competitive team), THESE boys took 2ND PLACE at the Phoenix Rising Fall Classic!!

A little Rondo on cement while waiting for the lightning delay to lift

So exciting one of my former players knows a player that made it to MLS!!

B2012 training session - getting ready. 9-10-25 - we worked on turn and go, turn and pass, and 4v4 attacking and defending as our back 4 had the opportunity to stay in shape and defend properly. Then - scrimmage!

The cool thing about practicing turn and go movements in the ball control phase of these sessions is how much improvement we immediately see in that day's scrimmage. Great way to improve ball movement!!

Our first games of the season for the 2014 and 2015 boys were played on our home field at Mingus Union High School - both teams won their games - 2015s were 2-1 and the 2014s went 4-0!

Terrific turnout today for a 3 team get together (B2012-13, B2014, and B2015) scrimmage at Riverfront Park!! 3 teams of 9v9 fun with the red team pulling out the final W!!!
