✨The Freehub 17.1 Giveback Campaign was a huge success! We’re incredibly excited to share that together we raised $18,466 for the trails and future projects ahead. 🙌
✨Thank you SO much for choosing us for your campaign! Thank you for donating the beautiful bike!! Thank you for the rack 🤘🏼

A huge congratulations to Martha Merrick, the winner of the Freehub 17.1 Giveback Campaign! Martha is a local rider from Apache Junction who has watched Hawes grow and evolve over nearly 30 years of riding the area. We couldn’t think of a more fitting winner to celebrate this community and everything these trails represent.

We asked Martha a couple questions about Hawes and the future of the trail system:

Q: What’s your favorite trail at Hawes?
“That’s a hard one! I don’t have just one favorite trail, but we have a loop we ride regularly: Maricopa Madness to Scorpion, Scorpion Alley, then Bush Lite back up Wild Horse.”

Q: What are you most excited about that the Hawes Trail Alliance is working on?
“The new green and blue trails. So far my favorite is Diamondback because it’s such a great trail back to the NRA parking lot.”

Thank you to everyone who donated, supported, volunteered, and continues to believe in what we’re building together.🤘🏼

Not the post we want to have.

This isn’t the first time this has happened. We repaired damage just last month.

This bathroom was built and is maintained by Hawes Trail Alliance through local fundraisers and volunteers. This kind of vandalism doesn’t make a statement—it damages something that belongs to our entire community.

If you see anything suspicious, please report it to authorities so we can help stop it.

Red Mountain Access Trail is officially open!! 🎉

Master Plan 2.0 is underway—and we’re just getting started. In only a few days, we’ve already completed 0.5 miles of the 20-mile vision. So many more miles (and smiles) ahead!

⚠️ The trail is still soft and needs some tires and moisture for compaction—so go wash your cars and do a little rain dance for us 💃🌧️

This new 0.5-mile stretch is a perfect connector—finish your RMR lap and roll straight into a smooth, flowy descent back to the parking lot. 🙌

With your continued support—through donations (link in bio ⬆️) and volunteer hours 💵💪—we’re building something truly special.

Let’s keep the momentum going! 🚜🪏

👊🏽Thank you

This is just the beginning. 🙌 Trail days are coming soon, so get ready to help volunteer🪏

Huge shoutout to and for helping bring this vision to life.

With your continued support—through donations and volunteer hours 💵💪—we’re building something truly epic.
