It's been a tough year for many people, so we want to take a moment and count our blessings. YOU are a blessing to us. We appreciate all the students who chose Texas Gun School this year for training and we hope your holiday season is spent with those you love. Be safe, be happy, and wear a mask!

M&P SHIELD® EZ® PISTOL IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL NOTICE FOR PISTOLS MANUFACTURED BETWEEN MARCH 1ST, 2020 AND OCTOBER 31ST, 2020

We were notified that certain models of the Smith and Wesson EZ 9mm and EZ 380 have been recalled. The fi****ms may accidentally discharge when the slide is put in a battery position. It is imperative that you check your firearm to see if it is part of the recall. Smith and Wesson will send you a box for the return and make the necessary repairs. To determine if your firearm is involved in the recall, you will need to locate your box the gun came in and find the date of manufacture on the label. Alternatively, you can go to the Smith and Wesson recall site and put in your serial number and the site will alert you if you are part of the recall. PLEASE DO THIS TODAY!

As a young boy, when my turn to say grace at the table came around, I was always a bit nervous. What could I possibly say, how would I word it, and would it make any sense to anybody other than me? So much pressure to express those feelings I had of gratitude for my blessings.

Now it’s a bit easier. I just have to get the words out. So, here we go.

Thank you for supporting Texas Gun School and The Gun Zone this year. The employees of the store can care for their families because of your generous support. Our children have an opportunity to sleep in warm beds, have healthy meals, be cared for by doctors, and attend school in large part because you support our business. Personally, my family is similarly blessed because we had the opportunity to meet, work with, and teach so many of you, and that is a great blessing we don’t take for granted.

We are safe, we are well, and we hope the same for your families this holiday season. So much to be grateful for, yet just two small words are all we can think of to say. Thank You!
