Players Only Athletic Club

As the saying goes, “all good things comes to an end.” That time has come for Players Only Red team. It’s been a great run expanding 5 seasons. From starting out as a new 10AA team, to ending as a 12U Majors team. It been a great ride watching all the boys that suited up to represent PO Red and organization.

Select baseball even at the highest level can’t keep everyone happy and fortunate for what is. Sold on the process and willing to work through even tough days.

This team reached heights and built a great reputation on the DFW select scene. A huge testament to the blood, sweat and tears put into it. Org owner Coach Lamont is someone we all will forever be thankful for. To the kid, everyone that put on a Players Only jersey left better than they came. Coaches included.

Thank all who followed this special team the past 5 seasons. While the core and heart of the team will continue on the next stop together, this is a tough see you later for now. Once PO, always PO..

Congrats to the 12U Red team for winning the championship this weekend in the PAC Fall State Championships! The boys went 4-0-1 en route to securing the ship. Excellent defense, pitching, and timely hitting was the recipe. We all know how tough they are in bracket play, but boys keep the focus both days.

Way to end the fall season on top! Much needed time off for these boys as we head into Spring!

Congrats to the the following players from the 12U Red team on making the 2023 12U PG Hurricane Harvey Memorial Fall Super Regional NIT 12U Major All-Tournament Team.

Cruz Thome, Zade Roblow, & Jackson Smith

Congrats to Zade Roblow (Qtr final Player of the Game), Jackson Smith (Semi-final Player of the Game), and Cruz Thome (Championship Player of the Game). The boys took started on the mound for each game respectively in bracket and lead the 12u Red team to victories. Cruz went 6 IP/1k/0 ER & added 1-2 on offense. Way to go boys!

A rough showing on Saturday pushed the boys down in the brackets. However as usual the “Bracket Boys” turned it up and on all the way to bracket champions! The team you don’t want to see in bracket ….

Way to represent for Zade Roblow from the 12U Majors team in Cary, NC. Zade competed with the South NTIS team and had a great week. Offensively and defensively!

Five of the boys from the organization in action today and tomorrow. The Texas Rangers Youth Academy 12U Wood Bat Tournament. Brayden Perkins (12U Red), Nathan Bocanegra (12U Red), Jackson Smith (12U Red), Federico “Kikyn” Sifuentes (12U Red), and Larry Mitchell Jr (12U White). Boys all making major contributions today offensively & defensively.

Congrats to Landon 12U Grey (left), Larry 12U White (Middle), and Jax 12U Grey/12U Red (Right) on going down to Round Rock for Baseball Youth All-American Games. The boys went 2-2 and contributions from all three boys. That includes Team MVP for Jax, & Silver Slugger for Landon. Way to go boys!

Congrats to Zade Roblow from the 11U Red team on making the USA South NTIS team!! Zade will now travel to Cary, NC the home of USA Baseball and battle it out against the other region NTIS teams. Way to go Zade, go represent!!
