Rodeo Road Rally

The 2026 Rodeo Road Rally is officially cancelled.

At 5:00 a.m., we were optimistic as the radar showed signs of clearing. Unfortunately, conditions have not improved as hoped, and the safety of our riders, volunteers, and support crews must come first.

We are currently working with our communications team and PD to make a decision on if we need to delay start. We will post here as soon as a decision is made.

The ride is ON and we’re looking forward to a great day of cycling, community, and fun. Bring your rain jacket “just in case,” your smile, and get ready to ride.

Current forecasts suggest heavier rain arriving later in the evening. We we won't rule out the possibility of a shower during the event but there looks to be a window to ride 🙌

Packet Pickup resumes today at Trek Bicycle Southlake from 11a - 4PM.

We know many of you are keeping an eye on the weather, and so are we! Several members of our communications team stay in contact with National Weather Service updates before and throughout the event. At this time, forecasts indicate possible rain in the very early morning hours, with the rain potential developing later in the afternoon. Based on this current timing, we feel good about our window to avoid the rain and be able to ride.

The Mesquite Rodeo Road Rally is a rain-or-shine event. However, rider safety is always our top priority. In the event of lightning or severe weather did occur, we may delay the start for up to one hour and, if necessary, shorten routes to keep participants safe.

We’ll continue monitoring conditions and will communicate any updates if needed. We’re planning for a fantastic day on the bike and can’t wait to see everyone at the starting line!

Today we’re celebrating one of the greatest inventions ever created...the bicycle! It takes us on adventures, brings friends together, and reminds us that some of life’s best experiences happen on two wheels.

2025 Bike Ride Event | Rotary Club of Mesquite WHEN:  Saturday June 7, 2025 Start time: 7:30 am distance riders will begin first. No late starts after 7:45am allowed. 

We’re happy to share the course cut-off times have been extended to give riders more flexibility and a better experience on ride day. Local law enforcement has generously worked with us to revisit our permits and allow additional time on the course.

With these updated cut-off times - along with our return to Hanby Stadium this year - you’ll have more time to complete your chosen route.
