Metairie Cricket Club (MCC)

Great win by MCC against Dilwale. MCC batted first and lost couple of wickets early, but David (man of the match) played a tremendous inning and had mini partnerships with Sikander, Usama, and Raza. Great running at the end by Asad, Babar, and Amer which resulted in MCC scoring 153. Dilwale started hot in 1st over but were unable to get something going. Important wicket was taken by our captain, Sikander, on 1st ball of 3rd over and that got things going for us. Then Bilal Hamza came in bowled really well, only gave up 12 runs in 4 overs and picked up important wicket as well. Hasan (4 wickets) and Amer (2 wickets) both picked up HUGE wickets, and changed the game for us. We were missing a 5th bowler, but Ali Raza came in gave us huge boost and picked up 2 wickets in crucial overs while only giving up 8 runs. Our Fielding was great, and good catches were made by Haris, Basit, Amer, Usama, Sikander, David. Overall great win by MCC 👏🏻! We are getting better so let's keep moving in the positive direction.

Great win by MCC against Tcc. Great bowling and batting by our captain, Sikander, the man of the match. He ended with 43 runs with SR of 208 and 4 wickets. Excellent bowling by Atif, highest wicket taker in league. He would have many more wickets if we would held on to catches. All of our bowlers would have many more wickets. Asad finally broke thru, and batted great with 2 huge sixes. He scored 30 runs with SR 180. Ameer, Hasan, Amer, Bilal, and Ali all bowled great. Great wicket keeping by David, he stopped soo many extra runs, and awesome fielding by Usama and Haris. We have potential of being great. Lets keep this momentum going into T25.

Tcc played great as well. Best of luck in T25.

Another Great Win for MCC....Beat Kenner comprehensively..!!! We getting better day by day !! Great bowling n solid batting...Another great News is Kashif bhai and Shaaki played for us and have officially said that they will play for MCC !!! On to da Next One...On the Grind...!! All Hail MCC... !!!
