Tai Chi Chuan taught by Peter Hom in Metairie, Louisiana. Tuesday classes are taught from 11:15 am - 12:00 pm at Elmwood Fitness Center. What is Tai Chi Chuan?
Saturday classes are taught from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at Lafreniere Park Shelter #3 across from the Dog Park and from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Elmwood Fitness Center. Tai Chi is translated as “The Supreme Ultimate.” Chuan is “Fist.” Tai Chi is a form of soft style Kung Fu. Tai Chi consists of a series of slow, ballet-like movements which can be thought of as a “moving meditation.”
