One of the best things about working out in a group is the connection. You will build new friendships where you both are focused on growth and helping each other get stronger. Itās a friendship like no other because you see each other struggle regularly and you both persevere together.
I see more connection, smiles and genuine happiness in my gym that Iāve ever found concentrated anywhere else.
If youāre not feel confident and youāre closing yourself off, find a workout partner and get out of your house. Real relationships and conversations are dying out and it has a strong relationship with poor mental health.
Get around people who breathe life, hope and energy into you! You are unstoppable, you just have to step out of your safe zone.

How is possible that after all this time of knowing you we seem to only be able to pull these same pictures together year after year.
[Isnāt social media funny? Iām sitting here typing a post to an angel in heaven and it seems like Iām typing directly to her.]
Itās hard to believe that youāve now been in heaven longer than you were on earth. I donāt know why this had to be our reality. It still hurts to think about all the missed memories and opportunities.
To everyone reading this, Iām going to tell you something.
The night my girl died she had zero intentions on dying. I had zero intentions for her dying. We made plans to meet up the next morning and it never got to happen. She was ripped out of my life in the middle of the night as I went to sleep with the happiest heart to see her the next day.
I have never been through anything more painful than the torment of the highest high followed by a soul stabbing low.
I never was the same person as I was that night. It was the last night that I had any childlike innocence left in me.
I sure took precious life for granted and that has been a wound that I still feel and will always allow myself to feel. I donāt ever want to take a second for granted again. I donāt ever want to assume Iāll have a second chance.
This is my plead to myself and to you; stop settling!
Stop waiting for the perfect time to chase your goals.
Stop hanging around people who make you question yourself.
Stop settling for just getting by.
You [and I] may not wake up with breath in our lungs tomorrow but if we do, Lord I pray that I am bold, brave and relentless in building my life just the way I want it with people who uplift me.
Thank you, Jesus for this life.
Thank you for giving me Raimee.
Thank you for all the lessons learned over the past 20 years.

Got a 1.3 mile walk in outside listening to my devotional. THE BEST! I love getting things done before the kids get up.
Itās my time to myself to think, set intentions, pray, proclaim what I am grateful for and all of that sets the tone for my day. I love an easy Sunday morning.

This was a BIG WEEKEND for my girl. She is out there living life the way it is meant to be lived.
š©·Friday day she was awarded student of the month for generosity (Nolan received recognition for his kindness also.)
š©·Friday night she cheered with her squad at the Pelicans game on the main floor in front of thousands of fans
š©·Today we brought her to an overnight retreat where she will spend time learning and growing her faith
I am so proud of this girl for moving and shaking this weekend. She has gotten out of her comfort zone so many times and has felt the boost of confidence and energy from doing that.
This takes me back to leading myself and how I coach my members. As women and mothers we are leaders of our family and our children need a strong example set from us.
We can preach āgo after your dreamsā all day long but if we are not chasing our own dreams, demanding more from ourselves and being bold, they wonāt see a living example of how we are asking them to be.
āDo as I say not as I doā is a cop-out for not holding yourself to standards. Itās lazy.

š«¶If you want your children to dream big and never settle, you go first.
š«¶If you want your children to be healthy and active, you go first.
š«¶If you want your children to never quit or settle for less than they deserve, you go first.

š«¶If you want your children to be happy, you go first.
Your example matters. Be the woman you want your children to look up to so they donāt have to look up to someone elseās mom.

I LOVE this and if youāre my kind of Undaunted Bad Ass you will too!
Life is too short to walk around with a bad attitude and always feeling slighted. To complain about every little thing.
Most people take everything for granted until they have a major health scare or catastrophic life event happen.
What if you chose to be grateful all the time, without needing something to open your eyes to how much you already have?
What if you showed people grace and kindness instead of getting annoyed and having to put them in their place?
Everyoneās positive on Sundays in church but what about when itās really hard to be positive? What about when things arenāt going your way? What about when someone didnāt treat you the best?
Having the mindset to let things go and to treat people the best even when they donāt deserve it is not being a push over. It will give you peace, happiness and an abundant life.
So, for a gym example, the next time something is programmed in that isnāt your favorite, how about taking the grateful stance?
āļøIām so grateful I have the health to be here at this gym and tackle this hard run/plank jack/burpee.
āļøIām so grateful I have working legs and a strong body to carry me through.
āļøI am so grateful for the UF team that is here to encourage me and help me be my best.
āļøIām so grateful for a gym that prioritizes mental health, tenacity and treating everyone well.
āļøIām so grateful for a space that is my positive and safe space and pushes me out of my comfort zone so I can be my best.
Itās easy to be an askhole who is always asking for things to be better or different.
Instead, try on the sunny side even when itās tough. You canāt be angry and grateful at the same time.

If your goals are for better health, get after it.
If your goals are to look a certain way, go for it.
Weight-loss, tone up, to be skinny, to look fine, to be fit, to feel strong, mental healthā¦
There are no wrong goals. Donāt feel like you have to set certain goals because social media tells you to. Whatever you want, you can have if you put in the work.
Go get it!
