An extra special evening at the Power Mile this year as Ainsley’s Angels debuted the Power Miler Track Club AAA chariot. We love partnering with Ainsley’s Angels and supporting their mission of inclusion without limitations across Greater New Orleans!

👟 Don’t forget to bring your gently used running shoes to donate! Shoes must be in usable condition with no holes, no rips, and plenty of tread remaining.

You’ve already proven you’re tough by training through one of the hottest summers we’ve had. Now it’s time to put that fitness to work!

Whether you’re chasing a PR, racing your friends, or just looking for a fun community event, we’d love to see you at the Power Mile this Saturday.

🦍 This year’s event also supports 18th Ward Sports The 18th Ward | New Orleans Youth Sports , helping create opportunities for local kids through sports.

👟 And don’t forget to bring a pair of gently used running shoes! We’ll be collecting them for Sneaker Reuse & Recycling Program so your old shoes can make a difference for someone else.

PMTC will be collecting gently worn, used or new sneakers at the Power Mile Road Race on July 25, 2026. (Shoes will be donated to Sneaker Reuse & Recycling Program)

(Shoes must be in wearable condition.
No holes, No rips. No tears. Sole must still be attached. Soles must have tread on them. And no wet shoes.)

We hope to see you tomorrow Greek Fest! This past week we did broken Ks to gear up for the race. If you’re looking to hone in your speed, join us Tuesdays at 6pm for a dedicated speed workout locations posted in stories. Sundays at 6 AM in front of Audubon Park St Charles entrance. Long run Paces up to 830 welcome to long run with us.
