Trying to get a 7:30 game Sunday at MHS
Win that and play the championship game on Monday.
Probably at 7 o’clock and hopefully at MHS

Methuen Senior Legion Baseball split a doubleheader with North Andover winning the first game 17-0 to move to a 13-1 record. Everyone hit and scored and J.J. Welsh shut their offense down allowing 3 hits striking out 5.
Second game was much closer with Nolan Torpey losing a tough one 4-3. Alex Santiago went 2-2 scoring 2 runs and playing excellent defense. North Andover’s offense showed some life in this game scoring 4 runs on 4 hits to drop Methuen’s record to 13-2.
Methuen plays its final game of the season Wednesday night at MHS @ 7 PM vs. Haverhill.

Methuen Senior Legion dispatched Beverly 4-0 to move to 12-1 on the season. Jake Carr pitched a gem going 7 innings, allowing only 2 hits completely shutting down the Beverly offense. Alex Santiago and J.J. Welsh led Methuen with 2 hits and a RBI each. Carr and Jayvien DeLeon each added a big RBI each. Double Header (2 five inning games) scheduled for tomorrow night vs. N. Andover at 6:00 and 8:00 @ MHS.
Still need a few guys to commit to District playoffs and State tournament or we’ll end our season Wednesday vs. Haverhill.

Four in a row for Junior Legion with a 6-5 victory over Georgetown/Haverhill. Strong outing by D. Apperti on the mound(5innings/5K’s). C. Costa with the save(2 innings/4K’s). Offense was led by hits Apperti (2), Shaheen (2), Costa (2), Shodry, Maroon, Kneeland, Greenwood, Medina. Medina with a web gem on the hot corner tonight.

Senior Baseball Moves to 11-1.
Ipswich team only came up with 8 players which resulted in a forfeit.
Seniors travel to Beverly Monday at 6:00 @ Beverly High School

Methuen Senior Baseball rolled over Andover 8-0 Wednesday to improve to 10-1 on the season. Jake Carr tossed 7 economical innings scattering 6 hits striking out 4 walking only 1 on 90 pitches.
Alex Santiago led the offense with 3 hits. Jamison Boland had a hit and a RBI as did Brian Murray and Dylan Conway added a hit and 2 RBI.
Methuen Senior next plays Friday night under the lights at Methuen High. Start time is 7:00 vs Ipswich. Tribune photographer was at the game so maybe there’s some pictures of the boys!
