Today i had the pleasure of having Doug in the boat with me. Doug is a retired United States Army, Lieutenant Colonel who loves the outdoors. Before the hunting season starts up he wanted to get in on the fall bite on Oneida. And that he did.

Today was day 2 for Randy and Jim. Giving the strong west wind I'd say they had a good day. Always a challenge after storms move through and the wind is blowing. Great job today guys.

Jim and Randy got in on a great bite this morning. Trolling cranks did it for them. I'll see you guys again tomorrow morning.

The trap shooters are in town again. That means Tom and Dave will be fishing with me before the shoot starts.
Today the bite was good early and definitely slowed later in the morning.
We finished up trying to cast for a few but that didn't pan out. Guess we should have stayed with the trolling program. Tom and Dave still ended up with a nice bag with one being over 22 inches.

Today was day 2 of a 2 boat trip with Eye Catching Charters.
Jeff and Jess were in the boat again with me and we had a much better bite today than we did yesterday. The crankbait bite that was on fire the last 2 weeks seems to have died down a bit. Staying the course and picking at them paid off.

Shannon, Brian and Doug got in on a steady crankbait bite today. With all of the shorts mixed in with the keepers it makes for a busy morning.

Quick trip this morning with Frank, his father Frank and Nick. Best part of the day was that there were no bugs!
Oh and the walleyes were also chewing.
