Egg quality is not fixed in the way so many women are taught to believe.

Yes, age matters. But the environment your eggs mature in matters too. Over roughly 90 days, your eggs are influenced by blood sugar, inflammation, sleep, nutrients, stress, circulation, mitochondrial health, and the state of your nervous system.

This is why I always remind women that fertility support is not about forcing the body. It is about creating the conditions where the body can function with more clarity, nourishment, and safety.

A regular period is a good sign, but it is not the full story.

So many women are told that if their cycle comes every month, everything must be fine. But your cycle is communicating far more than timing alone. Your flow, mood, energy, ovulation signs, luteal phase, PMS, spotting, cramps, sleep, digestion, and stress response all offer insight into what your body may need.

In Chinese medicine, the menstrual cycle reflects the whole body. It shows us clues about Qi, Blood, Yin, Yang, Jing, digestion, nervous system regulation, and hormonal rhythm.

This is why fertility care has to look beyond the calendar.

When you learn how to listen to your cycle instead of only tracking dates, you begin to understand the deeper patterns your body has been showing you all along.
