I’m here in the Mixed Diubles and Women Singles and Doubles Center. We know many of us have the same bowling bags. If you were bowling women singles and doubles today at 8am or 1pm you may have taken the wrong bag. Please check your bag. Please call me if you did so we can reunite you with your bags and the other lady with her bag.

We are pleased to announce our new Southern Regional Junior Tournament Director, Ms. Traci Moody Ellison of Dallas, Texas.

Ms. Ellison began bowling at the age of 7 and has loved the game ever since! She participated in youth bowling programs in Mobile, AL (her hometown) and Greensboro, NC before her family moved to Milwaukee, WI in 1986. It was in Milwaukee that Traci was introduced to TNBA by a few local bowling legends.

She fondly remembers traveling to Ohio with a busload of other junior bowlers to compete in her TNBA youth regional tournaments. It was also in Milwaukee that Traci got her first job as a learn to bowl coach for 5- and 6-year-olds.

Ms. Ellison was a member of the Kansas City Senate for 10 years before relocating to the Dallas area. She has competed in many TNBA regional and national tournaments and was the Southern Regional Rhodman Champion in 2012.

In addition to her 40+ years’ experience as an avid league and tournament bowler, Traci is also a Bowler Mom! She has two daughters who were also TNBA youth bowlers, one of whom went on to bowl at the collegiate level – so Traci has experience coaching and supporting youth bowlers and navigating the college recruitment process.

As the new Southern Regional Junior Tournament Director, Traci’s focus will be to increase membership and look for additional coaching opportunities for individuals looking to be a part of the growth within the southern region of TNBA, and encouraging youth bowlers to reach the next level.

Please help us welcome Mrs. Traci Ellison to the TNBA Junior Program Staff.
