Ballet Etudes School Ballet Etudes has been one of the premier dance schools in the Southeast for over 45 years.

Ballet Etudes School was founded in 1974 alongside its professional performing company, Ballet Etudes Company of South Florida, Inc., and now boasts over 75 graduates to date. The Mission of Ballet Etudes is to offer children and adults of all ages a variety of courses designed to provide a complete education in classical dance. Whether in pursuit of a professional career or simply deriving the joys and physical benefits of a dance class, Ballet Etudes offers students a graduated system of study to satisfy any skill level. Pre-professional students have the opportunity to develop the skills, experience, and discipline that are the necessary foundations for a professional dance career. Graduate and near-graduate students have the opportunity to perform with Ballet Etudes Company of South Florida in professional-caliber productions of such classics as The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Swan Lake, Coppélia, Paquita, and La Fille Mal Gardée. Members of Ballet Etudes Company of South Florida receive "hands-on" experience of what it is to train in a professional setting. They also receive specialized coaching for corps de ballet as well as soloist roles. Ballet Etudes School offers the finest dance training in an encouraging and professional atmosphere. Ballet Etudes supports the growth of classical ballet by maintaining the highest standards and by nurturing the talent of every student.

This program is designed to introduce 3 & 4 year olds to dance instruction in a warm, engaging and fun way so they learn to love and appreciate ballet for life! Ballet Etudes 2026 Summer Camp: The Great Cosmic Dance 🌎 We had so much fun and learned so much during our 2 week summer camp 🩰☀️Thank you to the incredible staff who put it together and made every day exciting and educational: Ms. Dagmar, Ms. Dawn, Mr. Aureo, Ms. Sasha, Ms. Jeanee, Ms. Tyra, and Ms. Sammy. After many requests and inquiries, we are excited to announce our new Adult Ballet class starting July 11th! Adult Ballet will be held every Saturday from 2-3pm. You can pay per class ($30) or per month ($100). There is no uniform for this class - leotard and tights or shirt and leggings - whatever makes you feel comfortable! Just bring your ballet shoes! No experience necessary.

2026 Senior Spotlights:
Congratulations to our Graduating High School Seniors - Jade Mejia and Gianna Pierre!

Jade graduated from Barbara Goldman Senior High School in the top 15%. She has committed to FIU to pursue pre-med and plan to major in health science. At Goldman, she was a member of the Spanish Honor Society, Medical Leaders of Tomorrow, SWAT club, Animal Rescue, First Priority, Open Mind Open Arms, and Salsa club, all while being an active member of Ballet Etudes Company!

Gianna graduated from Hialeah Gardens High School in the top 5% of her class and will be attending the University of Florida, majoring in Health Sciences, and is also pre-med. She received her Aice diploma with merit, graduated with her Associate’s degree, and received a Bright Futures scholarship. Gianna was an active member of Ballet Etudes Company and one of our Creative Movement teachers this year.

Congratulations Jade and Gianna! We are so proud of you and wish you the best on your college careers!
