This body has given birth to babies. It has lost babies. It has run hundreds of miles and lifted thousands of pounds.
It has had a front row seat to death of my most loved ones and on the other side, witnessed new life take its very first breath.
This body has been thinner. This body has been heavier. But the things that matter most have never changed - my empathetic heart, my grit filled mindset and my capacity to feel and give love so deeply.
I have endured pain and gut wrenching trauma, yet I still see the beauty in life. I laugh obnoxiously, love possessively and refuse to stop living fully.
I may derail but I do not give up. I am as tough as they come while still being as soft as they come.
This body may not be perfect, but it has carried me through every version of my life and for that, I will always be proud of it.
