This is a great opportunity to play competitive baseball at a national level. This program should not affect high school fall programs ⚾️

⚾️Meet our outfielding coach for the summer⚾️

Coach Jose was born and raised in Miami. He’s played baseball his entire life, and graduated from Miami Killian High School as an outfielder on their varsity team. He currently plays baseball at the collegiate level at Maryville College. Presently he is studying exercise science in hopes of pursuing a career in physical therapy. His goal for the SoFlo Prospects Baseball Club is to bring his knowledge of collegiate drills and exercises to young players in order to further their training.

⚾️Meet our infield/hitting coach ⚾️

Coach Frankie Navarrete is a Miami native and a former shortstop. He started playing travel baseball at a young age out of Tamiami park. At the high school level he played varsity for Christopher Columbus High School since his freshman year. His senior year he was the team captain and made Miami Herald’s first team All-Dade. During his time at Columbus he was a part of District Championships, Regional Championships, and 2-Time State Runner Up. He was fortunate enough to continue his career at the D1 level at Samford University under head coach Casey Dunn.

Currently he is the head baseball coach at Downtown Doral Charter Upper School where he also teaches full time. His mission as a coach is to develop the whole player both on and off the field. His goal for SoFlo Prospects Baseball Club is to open opportunities for these players to expose them to high levels of competition in hopes of them continuing their baseball career at the college level.
