What a night at Swing Kings. ⚾️🔥

We were proud to welcome Pedro Grifol, the new Head Coach of FIU Baseball, for a packed-house meet & greet with our South Florida baseball community.

A Miami native and Columbus alum, Coach Grifol brings more than two decades of experience in professional baseball, including serving as manager of the Chicago White Sox and as a coach on the Kansas City Royals’ 2015 World Series championship team.

Even better than the résumé was seeing him spend the evening talking baseball with young players, answering questions, taking photos and connecting with families throughout the night.

There’s something pretty special about seeing a South Florida baseball lifer come home to lead FIU — and getting to welcome him right here at Swing Kings made for an incredible night.

Thank you to Coach Grifol and everyone who came out. South Florida baseball showed up. 💙💛🐾
