Be honest… have you ever read a Bible verse and had to read it 5 times just to understand what it’s saying? 😭
I read it… pause… go back… read it again… and still sit there thinking “wait, what did I just read?”
I’m trying to understand what God is saying, but sometimes it just doesn’t click right away.
And I know I can’t be the only one 😂
Has this ever happened to you?

He is risen. 🤍
This Resurrection Day, we remember the sacrifice, the victory, and the love that changed everything. Jesus conquered death so we could have life.
Let’s give thanks today for His grace, His mercy, and the hope we have in Him.
“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6
Happy Easter ✝️
The things we put on our skin get absorbed more than most people realize.
Many conventional lotions, creams, and body products contain long ingredient lists that include preservatives, synthetic fragrances, and fillers that can be irritating for sensitive skin.
This is especially important for kids or anyone dealing with dryness or eczema prone skin. The skin barrier is already compromised so what you apply matters.
That’s why I’ve been choosing simpler products with fewer ingredients that I can actually recognize.
Whipped tallow like this one from is one of those options we’ve really liked using. It is a clean minimal ingredient product that feels nourishing on dry skin without all the extra additives.

Over two years ago I started carnivore to help heal things like depression, brain fog, fatigue, and my gut issues. I was dealing with microscopic colitis, Graves disease, and just a lot of hard stuff that doctors couldn’t fully figure out. Saying yes to carnivore has been one of the biggest things that helped me get through those times and finally start feeling better.
Since then I’ve slowly re-introduced foods to see what works for me. That’s exactly how I eat now. It’s not a diet, it’s just what works for me. And yes, not everyone will agree, and you have to find your own path.
One of my favorite breakfasts is something I don’t have often but it hits every time. I found this Aldi sourdough bread that’s like an everything bagel. It’s one of the cleanest sourdough breads I’ve seen in a grocery store. If you can find it locally or make your own, even better.
Here’s what I do:
• 1 slice clean sourdough bread (read your ingredients)
• 1 small hass avocado, mashed with a quarter to half a lemon squeezed in
• Crumbled feta cheese
• Salt to taste
• 2 fried eggs on top
• And of course bacon, I get a sugar-free nitrate-free kind from Aldi and it’s amazing
Mix up the avocado, smash it on your toast, add the eggs, sprinkle the feta, and top with bacon. Breakfast done and feeling good.
What’s your go-to breakfast when you want something that actually fills you up and makes you feel good? I’d love to hear your favorites.
Let’s be real. Some parts of the Bible are just a list of names 😆
I’m reading along and it’s like
“and then there was this guy… and then there was this guy… and then there was this guy…”
And my ADHD brain is gone 🫠
I know there is probably history or lessons hidden in here somewhere. I just haven’t found them yet. Audio Bible helps a lot though. I can actually follow along without losing my place
Does anyone else zone out during the genealogy chapters? Or is it just me? 👀
Every boy mom right now… am I right? Some days it’s the sweetest hugs, the “I love yous,” the little kisses, and you think wow, this is amazing.
Then 90% of the time it’s chaos. Fighting, hitting, not listening, messes everywhere, and somehow I’m the referee, snack maker, and cleanup crew all at once. Boy mom life is real, messy, exhausting, and somehow I wouldn’t trade it for the world… most of the time.
