Long Weekend Reminder ☀️🧠

Memorial Day weekend is here ✈️🍹🌴

Enjoy the celebrations, the food, the time with friends, and the slower pace, but don’t completely disconnect from the habits that help you feel good.

It’s still Mental Health Awareness Month, and your nervous system notices everything… the lack of sleep, nonstop plans, stress, alcohol, screens, and constant stimulation.

A little mindfulness goes a long way.

Move your body.
Drink your water.
Get outside.
Take a breather when you need one.
Protect your energy too.

You can have fun this weekend and still stay connected to your health intentions. Balance always feels better than burnout.

Wishing you all a fabulous Memorial Day Weekend 🇺🇸💛🇺🇸

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Mental well-being often gets pushed to the side because people tend to focus more on physical health. We notice headaches, exhaustion, or getting sick quickly, but stress, overwhelm, emotional fatigue, and mental burnout are easier to ignore until they start affecting daily life.

Modern life does not exactly help. Busy schedules, endless notifications, poor sleep, digital overload, and constantly being “on” can quietly impact mood, focus, patience, energy, and overall wellbeing.

Stress does not always show up dramatically. Sometimes, it looks like brain fog, irritability, difficulty concentrating, low motivation, disrupted sleep, or feeling mentally drained for no obvious reason.

The good news is that supporting mental well-being does not have to be complicated. Small daily habits such as movement, quality sleep, fresh air, downtime, and creating moments of calm can make a bigger difference than people realize over time.

A new blog post on stress management is now up on my website with practical, realistic strategies to support well-being in everyday life, check it out. 💚

🌍 Travel tip: stay mindful, not perfect

Being away, whether it’s a vacation or a work trip, doesn’t mean your habits have to go out the window. It’s usually not the trip that throws people off, it’s the all or nothing mindset.

I’m eating out a lot this weekend, so I balanced it out with a simple snack at my Airbnb 🐟✨

Canned sardines, yes I packed them 😄, fresh radishes, and olive oil from a local supermarket. Easy, nourishing, and took just a few minutes to put together.

Nothing fancy. Just being a bit more intentional.

It’s not about being perfect. It’s about doing what you can, wherever you are, so you don’t come back feeling like you have to start all over again.

👉 Save this for your next trip 👍

What’s one thing you do to stay mindful when you’re away? Share in the comments, I’d love to hear 👇

🎙️ New Episode on Words of Wellness 💜

Health can feel simple… until life gets busy. Then even the basics start to slip.

I joined host Shelly for a real, practical conversation about how to stay consistent with your health, even with a full schedule, back-to-back meetings, and life on the go.
We talk about the biggest barrier most people face: the belief that there isn’t enough time. And how shifting that mindset, starting with why your health matters to you—can make everything else easier to follow through on.

We also cover:

✨ Why your family history doesn’t define your future
✨ Simple, realistic habits you can fit into a busy day
✨ Easy ways to stay active at your desk or during meetings
✨ How to stay on track while traveling (without missing out)
✨ Letting go of the all-or-nothing mindset

This is a grounded, honest conversation with practical ideas you can actually use in real life.

Holding Confident You: The Raw Conversations and smiling, because writing my chapter reminded me of something I see with busy, high-performing professionals every day:

Lasting change isn’t about willpower.

It’s about designing habits that actually fit your life: travel, long workdays, time zones, stress, and everything in between.

In my chapter, I explore how understanding why you do what you do (not just knowing what to do) changes everything. When habits are built for real life, not “perfect life”, energy stabilizes, focus sharpens, and results start to stick.

Confidence and self-leadership don’t come from forcing yourself. They grow from routines that truly support how you live.💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

If you grab a copy of Confident You: The Raw Conversations, I would love for you to share what resonates most and if it speaks to you, leaving a review makes a bigger difference than you know.💖

Available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle.

Still Unfolding (and That’s the Point) 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Almost a month since Confident You: The Raw Conversations landed in the world, and one thing keeps standing out to me:

Confidence doesn’t come from forcing a reinvention.

It grows when we support ourselves consistently, especially in real life.

Curated by the wonderful , this book brings together 23 women sharing real stories (not highlight reels) about confidence, reinvention, healing, courage, and moving forward when life feels uncertain or messy. No polish. No pretending. Just honest conversations.

That’s why being part of this collaboration meant so much to me. My chapter focuses on what I live and coach every day: simple, sustainable habits that protect your energy, sharpen your focus, and support your health while you’re navigating a full, ambitious life.

If you’ve ever felt like there’s more for you, but you’re not quite sure what the next step looks like, this book meets you right where you are. You don’t have to read it cover to cover. Start anywhere. Let it be a companion, not a checklist.

If you’ve already picked up a copy, thank you, truly. 💛
Your support means a great deal to me. 💞💞💞

If it resonated, leaving an Amazon review makes a bigger difference than you might think. It helps these stories reach more women.

✨ Paperback and Kindle are both available
✨ Grab a copy, gift it, or share it with someone who might need it

Real stories. Real women. Real momentum.

And yes… still amazed it hit #1 in five Amazon categories.
