It’s been a process to get here but officially 2 weeks out from my first 1/2 marathon ⏭️
I tell the story of how I transformed from practically never running and hating it to it being one of my strongest facets of fitness currently.
Find more weaknesses and make them your strengths — even if the challenge of overcoming them is extremely resistant and uncomfortable, that’s where you’ll see the most growth.

We’ve got a marathon to train for!! This months focus is dedicated towards my FIRST Half Marathon here in Miami. My plan is to do all this running while maintaining my 200 lb physique— weightlifting and cross training will be included in this months prep as well.

Very thankful very grateful to spend another year doing something I love. Being able to share the gift of health and fitness is truly my passion and I am thankful for every single person I meet along the way — you see I’m on my very own journey to be the best version of myself and you guys help me so much more than I’m able to help you.
So thank you for continuing to show up everyday and doing it for whatever underlying reason — whatever lights your fire. Could be a family member that inspires you, your kids, a bad break up, chasing a race PR, whatever gets you out of bed — Keep Going!

We came we saw we set PR’s a couple top finishes and raised over 1K towards breast cancer research— the Miami Runway 5K is definitely a race I’ll add to the yearly schedule. Such a fun day with this amazing group of competitors , wouldn’t wake up at 5 am on a Saturday for anyone else.

Stay focused and stay the course in your pursuit — more than ever I trust my rituals and they’ve carried me past some real uncomfortable situations. It’s in those times we prove to ourselves we are doing the right things we are taking the right action steps we are on the right path — we CAN do hard things, whatever journey your on choose your hard and get past it
