Alternate nostril breathing (Nadi Shoshana) is used in yoga to help balance the nervous system and calm mental activity.
Even a few rounds can:
⢠settle the mind
⢠support focus
⢠create a sense of steadiness
It doesnât have to be long or complicated. Somethingâs itâs just about pausing and starting form a different place.
If youâre new to it, hereâs a simple way to start:
⢠Close your right nostril â inhale through the left
⢠Switch â exhale through the right
⢠Inhale through the right
⢠Switch â exhale through the left
Thatâs one round. Start slow.
Some experiences donât feel like growth when youâre in them.
