I got the prototype in! this is the biggest folder I have done. I love how robust it feels! there are a lot of little changes that I need to discuss with Kansept. But I like it a lot.

i think i messed up. So originally I wanted the mini marlin V2 not to have a ricasso. But in the middle of the production, I am freaking out about how it might be lead to someone cutting their finger. So i had them pause the production and send me a prototype. So it turns out it’s not as bad as I thought. But yeah someone could cut their finger if they had some big fingers. So now the solution is to grind not as far back, so then the ungrind part is the ricasso. But it’s too late to add a sharpening choil.
I haven't posted much about this one. Its because I didn't get much update from Kansept, and I didn't know when it will be done. This is a prototype from Kansept. Some people suggested that I make a Mini Marlin folder. This was what came out of it. I haven't handled it yet. But the main idea was that the grove is 1mm high and the recessed is 0.5mm. So the texture comes out like the Zipper. I can't tell from the video if that was done correctly. Anyway lets see... Kansept just shipped it so I can get it by Blade Show.
This was designed last year June. Then prototype started it around last year November. Knives take a really long time to do.

People always ask me which one is your favorite knife that you designed. That is like asking people which one is your favorite child. Of course you say I love them all, but secretly you do have a favorite one.
So this one I am most excited about for sure. Some of you saw the prototype at Texas Blade Show. But I ended up doing a lot of changes, so I am doing another prototype. The updated one will have a removable button on the compression lock area. Also the lock access will be a lot wider. I move the reverse flick hole jsut a little bit. Added jimping at the choil (not sure about this one).
This one actually started as the budget version of the Bestech OEM one thats button frame lock. I posted that one a while ago. Then it became too different, so now its own knife.
