Doing the same thing over and over again is the definition of insanity but athletes do it everyday😅

Every practice had to be PERFECT or it didn’t matter

I would put so much pressure on every little thing that I wouldn’t make any progress. I just couldn’t see it because my standards were just too high…

Progress isn’t perfect or linear and that’s normal.

I quit because of a coach, hated diving, came back, moved countries then won 2 worlds medals. I’m training for LA 2028 after just missing out on my spot at the last Olympics because of 1 dive😭

I’m showing the downs and the low points so you can feel just a little less alone🫶🏻

Everybody has to start somewhere, every intimidating athlete has been in your shoes me included.

And if your still nervous, remember that everyone else is way too focused on their own performance to be thinking about how your doing too😅
