Goal Setting 101!

1. Choose a goal
- set a date you want to achieve the goal by and work your way backwards with daily tasks you must accomplish to be successful!

2. Become clear on your WHY
- does your goal align with your values?
- does it integrate your passions?
- who will the success of this goal impact?
- what will the success of your goal make possible for you?

3. Set it in motion
- plan a celebration
- commit to a start date
- do whatever it takes!

Tell at least 3 people you trust about your goal and make sure they will keep you accountable!

Getting organized 101!

Being organized is a huge factor in how productive you can be!

Here are 3 steps you can take today to ensure you are more productive tomorrow!

1. constantly maintain your surroundings: wash your clothes, put things back where they belong, go grocery shopping, clean out your car.
2. prepare for your week: plan your workouts, plan your meals, lay out clothing for the next day, set a morning routine and stick to it!
3. focus inward: read everyday, meditate, practise self care, call a friend, journal.

Making sure you make time for these little tasks will set you up for success! TRUST US!

Have you ever noticed that sometimes your projects and tasks take more time than you allotted?

Why does this happen? Well, Parkinson's Law might be the explanation,

Parkinson's Law tells us that work expands to fill the time allotted. In other words, the amount of work required adjusts to the time available for completing the task.

One way to overcome the effects of Parkinson's Law is to create urgency by setting deadlines for yourself.

For example, Ingvar Kamprad, the founder of IKEA, once taught that "if you split your day into 10-minute increments, and you try to waste as few of those 10-minute increments as possible, you'll be amazed at what you can get done."

So, as you go through your day, trying using Ingvar's rule by seeing how much you can get done in the next 10 minutes, and then the next 10 minutes, and so forth.
