Every 7/11, my boys and I make our annual stop at 7-Eleven for our free Slurpees. We’ve been doing it for as long as I can remember, and somehow this silly little tradition has become one of my favorite . No elaborate plans, fancy trip or expensive dinner. Just a quick stop at a convenience store for a little dose of nostalgia and a sweet moment with my boysss! 🩵🩵

Part 3: Invest if YOU!
When you are busy, your own development is the first thing that gets pushed off the calendar. The course you bought sits untouched. The book stays on the nightstand with the spine uncracked. That podcast you keep meaning to start never gets played. You tell yourself there will be time later, and later never comes.
A slow season is your permission slip. This is when you get to sharpen the way you think and the way you work. Take the course. Read the book. Learn the thing that has been sitting on your list for months.
Use the slow months as your opportunity to grow. How will you invest in yourself this summer?

Part 2: Clean it Up
The busy months never give you time to fix the mess underneath the work. So the files stay chaotic. The systems you have outgrown stay in place. The desk, the drive, the process you have been complaining about for months all stay exactly the way they are because you are too busy surviving to reset any of it.
A quieter calendar changes that. This is your window to clear out what is cluttering the drive, refresh the space you work in every day, and finally rebuild the system that has been slowing you down. This is a great opportunity to make room for what comes next.
The version of you walking into fall will either be buried in chaos or standing in clarity. That part is up to what you do right now.
