Our friends Boulder Bloc Gym are hosting their annual bouldering competition this Saturday, October 3rd!

Categories for beginner climbers up to pros, as well as a special category for youth climbers!

It’s gonna be an awesome day of climbing with a great show starting at 6pm with the open finals!

Sign up is open now, check the link in Boulder Bloc Gym bio for info to sign up!

PS. Some of the Velocity Setters will be going over there to help set the climbs for the competition, say hi to them if you see them over there on comp day!

•The full Innsbruck Wall will be set Friday 9/25 for the Dyno Comp and Flash Night!
•The Dyno Comp boulder will be reset Monday 9/28 for Boulder League week 3!
•The Steep Wall will be set Friday 10/2

The Dyno Comp is tomorrow! It’s free to compete (you just need a membership/day pass) so come by and try some dynos for a chance to win some FREE CLIMBING SHOES!!

The Dyno Comp boulders will be getting reset on Monday for Boulder League so make sure you come to the event if you want to give them a try!!

DYNO COMP RULES AND FORMAT

HOW FAR CAN YOU JUMP?

Get ready for a battle of power, timing, coordination, and commitment.

Multiple dynos will be set on the wall, each with a different point value. The higher you go, the bigger the challenge.

THE RULES

ONE ATTEMPT
Each climber gets one shot at every dyno.

MISS = ELIMINATED
Fail the jump and your run is over.

STICK IT = MOVE ON
Complete the dyno and advance to the next challenge.

GO FOR THE TOP
The climber who reaches the highest-value dyno wins the Death Match.

ONE JUMP. ONE CHANCE. GO BIG.

Fall boulder league has started! You still have time to sign up! You can now compete without a complete team and see teams that are not filled out yet to help with signing up solo! Link is in our bio!

The Dyno Comp and Flash Night are next week! There will be some updates coming about them soon so stay tuned! Flash Night will start at 7 but the Dyno Comp boulders will stay closed until 8! both are free to attend and participate! Come check them out on Friday Sept 25th!

Reel Rock is coming to Velocity!

On Saturday, October 24th come and see the climbing movie event of the year!

This years film has a stacked lineup of some of the best climbers in the world doing some groundbreaking climbs, you don’t want to miss it!

All proceeds from the film will directly benefit the Miami chapter of the American Alpine Club American Alpine Club - Miami
