No matter the outcome, we're proud of every athlete who put themselves out there this weekend.
Because at Full Circle Coaching, it's about more than medalsβit's about growth, community, and becoming a little better every day.

Meet our Rockstar Athlete βοΈ Hilda Lopez.
Two years ago, Hilda almost gave up on her dream of completing the legendary Cancun to Isla Mujeres open water swim.
At 42, she was struggling with her health, in and out of the hospital, taking medications daily, and feeling disconnected from fitness and herself.
But instead of quitting, she committed to the process.
Fast forward to today π
π Completed the 10K El Cruce swim
π Finished the 8-mile Alligator Lighthouse swim
π Became a triathlete
π₯ Lost 65 pounds
π Got off ALL medications
And now? Sheβs training for a 12-mile swim around Key West and preparing for the English Channel.
Not through perfection. Through consistency.
We are SO proud of you, Hilda β€οΈ

STOP surviving the swim π
One of Coach Erinneβs favorite swim drills for triathletes?
The KRLS drill.
Kick β Right arm β Left arm β Swim
This drill helps improve:
βοΈ Timing
βοΈ Rotation
βοΈ Breathing position
βοΈ Body awareness in the water
One of the biggest takeaways from this drill:
βLeave your leading arm extended until you finish breathing.β
Breaking the stroke down piece by piece helps build a smoother, more efficient freestyle when it all comes together.
Try adding KRLS into your next warm-up set and let us know how it feels π

Morning swim sessions hit differently when youβre properly fueled ππ₯
One of the biggest mistakes swimmers make?
Showing up to practice underfueled and expecting quality performance. You donβt need a huge meal before an early swim β just simple, easy-to-digest fuel that gives your body energy to perform.
β
Hydrate early
β
Eat light carbs before practice
β
Stick to foods you know work for you
Better fuel = better energy, stronger technique, and more productive swim sessions.
Small habits. Big difference.
Whatβs YOUR go-to pre-swim snack? π
