PASA would like to thank everyone who participated in Season 2 basketball tournament.

I want to start by thanking all the players and coaches for your passion, hard work, and dedication. This season was full of challenges but we had overcome those challenges and had another successful tournament.

To all the Sponsors, Season 2 was possible because of you. I deeply appreciate your support and generosity! (Your individual businesses will be posted separately on our fb page)

To the Staff and Volunteers, you played a crucial role in this season’s success: to our Opening Ceremony emcee Mayleen, our table officials Malaya Mae, Louis, Sophie, Matthew & Mico, (and Zack for your last minute assistance) - thank you. We thank our referees for there are no games without the referees. I would also like to thank our sweet photographer Rysa, Aboy for the sound system, Eric for your help and support but most of all for your encouraging words, Runnil for always being there to help transport stuff for tournament use, RD for modifying our PASA logo, for Paolo our impromptu sports commentator, Mike D for picking up the phone when I needed clarification on some basketball matters that feel like beyond my comprehension 😅, to Kim for posting updates on PASA fb page and for your various roles and valuable assistance during the tournament, to Ptr Joseph Jimenez who facilitated the formation of the 3 on 3 division, and the last but not the least… the two most valuable volunteers of all, Kevin and Dante, without your help I’d say Season 2 would not have been possible. We were pressed for time but I took courage and pushed through knowing I could rely on you. Your hard work and passion made all the difference. Thank you!

To all the winners of Season 2, Congratulations! To the others who didn’t get the champion trophies, always remember that winning may be the goal… competing is a privilege and an honor. Win or lose, may each of you continues to inspire and serve as a role model for aspiring individuals especially to the young athletes within our community.

To all the fans and family members who came to support your favorite teams, thank you for your enthusiasm. It is easy to become emotional and sometimes conflict can arise. PASA promotes only friendly competition and so let us remain respectful and be kind to each other both in victory and in defeat.

God has given us the love and passion for this wonderful game and the resources to enjoy it. Let’s give Him back the glory as we treat one another with respect and exhibit appropriate behavior not only during but perhaps all the more so after the games. Let us continue to use the gift of sports to build a stronger and more connected Filipino-American community. Thank you 🙏🏼
