Do you have questions about our fish? Would you like to see the fish eat? Visit our store on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays at 3:00pm! At this time we will be having a fish feeding where anyone can ask questions about the fish or their habitat as well as enjoy the fish scramble for the squid and shrimp. We politely ask that feeding the fish in the fish tank is done by associates ONLY. Please, we also ask that all customers refrain from placing their hands inside the tank at all times, even when fish feedings are not occurring. Thank you and we can’t wait to see you at the fish tank for the feedings!

Yesterday, we lost a legend — Captain Jerry Appling from the Fly Shop. 🎣💙

Many of you may have known Jerry from his fly-tying classes, casting classes, or simply from sitting down with him at Bass Pro Shops in Miami and listening to his incredible fishing stories.

Jerry was a well-known and talented fly fisherman, and he made some of the best peacock flies around. We could never keep them in stock! But beyond his talent, what made Jerry so special was the way he shared his knowledge, his stories, his passion for fishing, and his friendship with everyone around him.

Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Captain Jerry will cherish the memories he left behind.

You will truly be missed, Captain. Rest in paradise, and go do some fishing in heaven. 🎣❤️
