Reading Proverbs 1:5 reminds me to always listen to wise men.

For many years I decided to listen to voices that were not wise and did not reflect God’s word.

Listen carefully and learn from the mistakes of others. It might not make the ride totally smooth but it will give you some tools for your toolbox 🧰!

They conditioned us to believe:

Men don’t cry, men don’t show affection, men are not vulnerable and never show weakness. Men have to be tough, etc., etc.

The reality is, when we look at Christ and His life He was the opposite of all that I just wrote above. And I choose to follow in His footsteps.

I am great-full for a place like that the Lord used to bring healing to my soul and my heart.

There Is Hope today and always.

Men,

It is okay to cry and be transparent. You don’t have to be who your dad or someone else told you to be.
