Jonathan (Jon Paul) Fernandez, is a Judo athlete and instructor at Baragua Judo Kai. He is also an aspiring actor who would like to promote Judo via the film industry. Jonathan is working on a short film project called "Dojo"(Dojan in Korean) . The objectives of this film are to show a unique martial art story with a diverse set of characters, promote the general public’s interest in martial arts, and increase interest in Judo.
The film details the art, philosophy, principles, and training in Judo stemming back to Japanese Jujitsu. The martial art theme of the film is aimed at bringing more awareness to the original art of Judo and to expose the Judo principles of 1) maximum efficiency and minimum strength of the body AND mind and 2) mutual welfare.
The budget for the film is $10,000. I would greatly appreciate your support to help bring this film to life so that people can see what Judo is about.
