I treated this like I do with exercise and nutrition science. I try to take a non-biased stance and try to disprove my previous findings. “What if I am wrong?” I ask myself.
I would even listen to non-believers and take notes. I didn’t have the knowledge to rebut or dispute their claims. So I’d research why they do not believe. Some of them didn’t even have arguments; they simply didn’t believe because they didn’t believe.
As the months went on and my belief grew stronger and stronger, I also began to allow myself to open up to the emotional, spiritual side. This may have been largely due to all the signs, the GODincidences, that would slap me in the face. Some so real that many moments I’d find myself whispering “hi tata.”
I still can’t recite scripture. I more than likely can’t win an argument, and I can’t recall 90% of what I learned off the top of my head, but I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that I believe.
In conclusion, here is where I stand…. Jesus was born, crucified, and rose from the dead. I believe this not only as a heartbroken father yearning to know that his firstborn is alive in the kingdom of Heaven. But as a man, that when given EVERY reason to NOT BELIEVE… I decided to seek truth.
With all that… I stand before you and declare that Jesus is King.
I know I have a long way to go to understand. I’ve accepted I may never. It’s the words in Psalms 23, that remind me that one day, not here on earth, I just might.
He is Risen.

29 mostly former I Am’ers have joined over the past eight days.
It makes me so happy to see old faces back training in the house they helped build. The energy is electric, the vibe is welcoming, and the group chat is absolutely on fire.
This promo is open to everyone, but I’d love to pack the floor with those OG I Am’ers to help set the tone.
Head over to thelox.com to register, find class times and information about the program. You may also message me up with any questions.

I’m curious if you guys see it too?
This was yesterday at the Houston walk for Victory.
My niece (white 19 cap), my nephew (cap backwards) and Lucas’ mom and step-dad (left), went to support and honor Lucas.
I posted this picture yesterday and when I looked at it today, something caught my attention.
No, despite the circumstances, I’m not going crazy. I’m just curious if I’m the only one that sees it?

I’ll be honest with you guys.
I’ve avoided gatherings with his teammates. It’s hard to look at these boys and not see him amongst them.
Their hair, their jokes, their laughs, their uniforms, the way they walk, talk, bust on each other… everything gives me the false hope that I will see him appear.
But slowly I’ve been coming around and spending some time with them. From Heat games to waterpolo matches.
What I’ve learned is that the pain will always be there regardless, but the joy of giving them hugs and high-fives makes me feel closer to him.
Yesterday these boys returned to Ransom for the first time since that day. I once again hesitated to go. But I was inspired by their strength and courage and felt it was more about them and not me.
They pulled off the win, and of course… scored 19 points.
