Made of dust and sunlight. Earthly matter brought to life by electrical charges.

Most of us have become so alien to nature that it actually has affected your mental and physical health.

We must continually return to nature to ground and charge our electric bodies. This brings so much peace of mind and energizes our entire system.

Living in a concrete jungle in the sky has made me appreciate getting into nature more than ever before. It's easy to forget to leave this Jetson lifestyle but it is a necessity.

Beauty comes from within - you are beauty and beauty is you.

You are a masterpiece - a work of art. There is only one you, made up of your genes and life experiences. And there will never be another.

Real beauty is acceptance of yourself, perceived flaws and all and to realise that they are a part of what makes you, you. It's a radiance of spirit, having character, kindness to ourselves and to others, it's strength and self-confidence to know that with or without makeup the real beauty is you.

I think it's about starting to appreciate yourself as you would any other piece of art or nature. If you look at a flower or sunset, you don't tend to judge it; you simply accept and appreciate it for what it is.

Take a look, a real hard look and embrace and accept you as you - beauty.

Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained.

Confidence helps us feel ready for life's experiences. When we're confident, we're more likely to move forward with people and opportunities — not back away from them. And if things don't work out at first, confidence helps us try again and again until we succeed.

Has someone told you that you're smart? Funny? Kind? Artistic? A good student? A good writer? A good athlete?

When people praise us or recognize our skills and capabilities, it can boost our confidence — as long as we believe these good things, too. If you've ever doubted the good things people say about you, that's the opposite of self-confidence.

To feel truly confident, you need to really believe you are capable. The best way to get that belief is through using your skills and talents — by learning and practicing.

Confidence helps us move forward to discover and develop our capabilities. When we see what we're capable of and take pride in our achievements, confidence gets even stronger.

Dare to be the real you. Let others see you for who you are — mistakes, insecurities, and all. Insecurities are easier to move past when we don't feel like we have to hide them. Embrace your quirks instead of trying to be like someone else or acting in a way that's not true to you. It takes courage and confidence to be real. But the more real we are, the more self-confident we become.

Confidence levels go up and down for all of us, even the most confident-seeming people. If something shakes your confidence, show yourself some understanding. Don't criticize yourself. Learn from what happened, think what you could have done differently, and remember it for next time. Talk about what happened with someone who cares. Then remind yourself of your strengths and the things you've achieved. Get back in the game!

Life's too short and the world too big to not go explore it.

You might feel like you’re stuck in a rut in your daily life. Or you’re yearning for something exciting and different. You’re craving new experiences and new challenges. Travel is the ideal place to test yourself. It pushes people to their limits and gets them outside their comfort zone.

You’ll discover how resourceful you are when you’re exposed to new places, people and experiences. Maybe it’s finding your way around a busy city. Or ordering a meal when you don’t speak the language. Or zip-lining. You’ll feel pride when you finish your trip successfully. Overcoming challenges will bring you joy and energy for future tests. You’ll realize how capable you are and build your confidence.

Exploration gives us the sense that anything is possible. Exploration leads to knowledge and understanding, and means that you make the world a better place as you explore.

Real exploration cannot be done through a screen or second-hand; true perspective must be obtained first-hand as primary evidence. The great explorers and creators of history have known this and it remains the same today.

If the leaders of tomorrow are inspired to explore, understand how the world fits together and how they fit within it, our global community will be all the richer for the decisions they will make toward a better world.

from the moment I walked into the room and saw you standing there, you took my breath away and continued to do so.

Each day with you is an adventure. You always light up my world with your love, compassion, and humor. You always know exactly what to say and do to make me feel supported and cared for.

I'm so grateful to have found you and am grateful to have a relationship full of lifting each other up, constant support, and trust. You are my world and I promise to continue to light you up just as you do me - just as our vows say.

Happy anniversary. I look forward to many more years and lifetimes of love, laughter, and fun together.

It is common to consider comfort as part of our personal decision-making process; “What you feel most comfortable doing”. This can be interpreted in different ways.

As humans, we evolved to feel fear because it prevents us from making fatal mistakes. It’s good to put attention to fear, not to ignore it. However, in current times where we are more often at risk of missing out good opportunities rather than being eaten by a predator, more and more fears cross the line of irrationality — or at least, stop being worth it. An effective way to overcome many of those — for instance, social anxiety — is through exposure therapy. It’s uncomfortable. It feels bad until it doesn’t feel bad anymore.

Healthy nutrition and exercise: These take discipline because your bed, sugar, fat, salt and alcohol are extremely comfortable. Is it necessary to say why it’s better to eat well and avoid sedentarism?

They say practice makes perfect, but that saying is incomplete. Good practice makes perfect. Practicing repeatedly a skill that you already mastered is staying the same. And practicing something wrong further reinforces your bad behavior, making it even harder to rectify. Good practice takes effort: It entails research, self-assessment and continuously correcting your ways.

When you find something that is both uncomfortable and good for you, a good idea is to find ways of feeling comfortable doing it, instead of beating resistance with much effort. That’s what I call being comfortable in discomfort.
