Over the last few weeks, Iāve been working behind the scenes, updating my website and expanding the wellness resources I personally use and recommend for women in midlife.
As a wellness coach, fitness instructor, teacherās aide, and busy mom, I know firsthand that feeling your best after 40 isnāt about extremes. Itās about creating sustainable habits that support energy, strength, recovery, sleep, and overall health.

I made an action figure of myself a while backā¦
and since Carlos is driving and I clearly have time on my hands š
I had to try the Zumba instructor version
(Zumba instructor since 2013 and still not over it š)
Because no matter whatā
give me good music and a few minutesā¦
and Iām a whole different person āØ
Midlife or not⦠weāre still allowed to have FUN with this.

I didnāt realize how tired I actually was⦠until I wasnāt.
If youāve ever woken up at 2 or 3 in the morning for no reason and then just laid there wide awake⦠you know exactly what I mean.
For a while, I thought it was just part of this stage of life. And to be fair, things did get better when I started the FASTer Wayāmy workouts, nutrition, and daily routine made a big difference.
But my sleep still wasnāt where I wanted it to be.
Lately, I added something new to support what Iām already doing, and Iāve noticed a big differenceāespecially in my sleep. Iām falling asleep faster, staying asleep more consistently, and waking up feeling more rested.
Nothing extreme. Just support.
And honestly, it reminded me of something I tell my clients all the time⦠Itās never just one thing. Itās the combination that works.

Sweaty post-class pics.
