Padel basic: when the head is up, you control the angle. When it drops, the angle controls you.
Most beginners let the racket head drop below the wrist right before contact. It feels natural but it kills your shot the ball floats, goes where it wants, and you have no idea why.
The fix is simple: keep the head of the racket above your wrist. Always. On volleys, on bandeja, on smash prep. Think of it like you’re showing the face of the racket to the ball before you hit it.
That’s the difference between placing the ball and just hoping for the best.
