Soooo. After a gnarly knee repair and recovery, shoulder repair and recovery and now recovering from cancer, I still feel the need- the need for speed! Olympics remain a dream and ultimate goal is to get back on the wire for some epic racing 💪🏻🤩🎉

Happy Holidays Everyone! Sorry for the long delay in news. It has been a long recovery for Katie from rebuilding the knee from the Princess Sofia Trofeo crash. Katie will be training in January with Victor Diaz de Leon with Red Gear Racing on the new Nacra 17s in January as the first step into seeing how the repair went. Still recovering from a major knee surgery where Dr. LaPrade put in a new PCL and LCL at the Steadman Clinic in Vail. Hopefully on the water in late summer!

Sail Life

Not exactly what we had in mind when we woke up this morning the day before trials start. Katie found a small crack in the gel coat when she was polishing the boat. The small crack turned out to be a giant void and a final short tune up day turned into a long day of boat work. On the plus side, hopefully this fixes the mysterious leak that we've had trouble finding. Racing starts tomorrow, results can be found here: http://www.sailing.org/worldcup/results/index.php
