I'm Kelsie- I run a small, private practice in Miamisburg, OH
The work I do extends far beyond what you think of when you hear the word yoga.
While movement is absolutely fundamental to healing, it is only a portion of it.
Thatâs why some people can be in great shape- but still be an emotional, chaotic train-wreck.
What I have learned in the decade of healing myself (and guiding others), is that shadow-work is the single most important, and often overlooked, piece of the puzzle. Itâs what really changes the game.
Shadow work *very briefly* is the act of bringing whatâs hidden in the subconscious to the surface to be integrated, felt and healed.
Sometimes this happens in happy âaha!â moments, when you gain clarity on why youâve been repeating an annoying pattern.
Sometimes, itâs taking a heartbreaking, brutal look at reality and realizing what youâve allowed in your life because of your past programingâŚand then actually facing your fears to change it. (not just staying in the logical âI know why I do thisâ phase)
If you donât actively seek out your shadow, the negative patterns and self sabotage continue to run your life and you're stuck feeling powerless to all of it.
This is where I come in. I combine several modalities (yoga, somatic movement, energy healing, breathwork, meditation, etc) with shadow-work, to change your life in the best way possible.
My expertise in this realm allows me to quickly pinpoint the subconscious root of external issues (through conversation), and then help & support you as you make the necessary but difficult changes.
I never force you into anything- I simply shine the light on the areas that youâve blocked from yourself.

2026 me found it today & is thrilled to have a relic from that very brief time period of my life and also realizes the only reason they were highlighting in this book is because they saw me highlighting in it first đŤś

Finalizing the class roster for my Friday morning 6 am class @ Mound Collaborative in Miamisburg! We start this Friday, the 9th.
Beginner focused power yoga.
Challenging but not overwhelming.
We will focus on form, alignment, body awareness and flow with the most common power vinyasa poses.
It'll be a great workout and a great way to start your January!

Your mind is like a puppy.
If you take an untrained puppy on a walk- it's going to try to pull you in all different directions
It will roll in something dead and try to run out in front of traffic to chase a leaf thatâs blowing across the road
Itâs going to be scared of new situations and places it's never been
It might eat something it's not supposed to
It WILL act impulsively
That doesnât mean you just let it do these things
You donât just stand there are let it roll in s**t and say âoh, thats just the way it is!â
You stop the puppy from doing those things, because YOU are holding the leash.
You direct it away from what it shouldn't do and you teach it what it CAN do
If there isnât anyone around that knows how to train it, the puppy will keep practicing these chaotic behaviors and grow into a dog with behavioral issues
It might end up reactive, aggressive and fearful
It could even turn out the opposite- overly friendly, jumping up and licking everyone. Knocking people down and hurting them because they canât control their excitement
Both outcomes suck. Both are unregulated dogs that donât know how to properly behave
However, WITH the proper training and guidance- these problem behaviors usually wonât develop
Even if they are predisposed to behaviors due to breed or other genetics, the behaviors are usually able to be managed or channeled into other more productive outlets
The amazing thing about this is that YOU are the one holding the leash of your puppy-mind
As humans, we have access to higher thought
We have access to books, videos, skills, abstract thought & future planning.
We can literally train ourselves
We can even teach ourselves HOW to train ourselves- like I did by studying it all for the last decade
Nobody volunteered to teach me these things.
Every time you notice your mind chasing a leaf and running directly into a busy street, you can pull the leash back
You can direct your mind to something else
Go into it KNOWING that your mind WILL keep trying to chase the leaf
Especially if its practiced doing so for 30-50+ years. It's a habit.
Pull the focus back anyway
Remember that you are the one holding the leash
Over and over and over again
Until your mind learns not to.
Repetition. Repetition. Repetition
You formed the current habit by repeating it and you can literally form any other habit you want, by repeating it.
Donât give up
You will fail at times
You will fall completely off course
You will sometimes not realize that you rolled in s**t again until after its too late.
Go wash it off and try again.
It doesn't matter how many times it happens
It only matters that you try again
That you pick up the leash and decide where you want to go
The one holding the leash has alllll the power

This series will focus on learning body awareness in the most common power vinyasa poses. It will be progressive in nature- each class building on the previous one. Expect enough repetition to build mastery in the sequences, then adding on more advanced movements as time goes on.
No experience is necessary but expect to be challenged! Power yoga is a full body workout that also prioritizes mobility and mental focus. Youâll get stronger, move easier and feel more connected with your body. Beginner friendly doesnt mean easy- just accessible. I'll demo moves & help you learn, rather than breeze through them like in faster paced / larger classes.
This series is great for
-beginners who want to get started in a less intimidating atmosphere
-moms who want to improve their core strength and mental health
-people who sit at desks for work and want to improve their posture
-weightlifters or runners wanting to add mobility & variety to their workouts
-experienced yoga practitioners who just want dedicated time to go deeper into their practice
-students who regularly attend group classes but feel unsure about their form in certain poses
-anyone who just wants a great functional workout in before they start their day
