Fun with bikes!! took an extra lesson from the pros in changing rear tires...you know...just in case! ;-)
I cannot say enough about the customer service, professionalism, integrity and friendliness of the guys at K&G!!
I've had experience with both the Centerville and Kettering locations and am always impressed.
I think we feel more prepared to handle an emergency tire situation, just hoping we don't need to use these skills!

8 weeks and counting!
Here is our training schedule this week. Busy busy.
Monday: recovery day
Tuesday: AM 6mi run / PM 2hr ride
Wednesday: 1hr OWS / strength training
Thursday: AM 10mi run / PM 1hr swim
Friday: 40+ mile bike ride
Saturday: John will be at Cedar Point for the Run & Ride and Elizabeth will be enjoying some Family time. :-)

First OWS For 🏊🏊🏊
It was a cold one! I was just happy that even though it was a really hard swim, when I got out of the water I didn't feel totally discouraged. I know I have a long way to go to be ready for the swim, but I can see it. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and now I have a better idea of what I need to do to get there.

What an experience!

Our 2.5 hour (active) bike ride actually took almost 4 hours of real time.
We had to stop a lot.
Busted bikes.
Goose attacks.
Random discarded articles of clothing.
Streakers.
More angry geese.

weekly review. :-)
Hit all 5 key sessions this week!
Did a mock tri indoor on Monday. Rowing is kinda fun! Not sure how productive, but fun!
Got my real swim done later in the week.
I've been battling a pretty nasty virus that's kept me from performing my best, but still feeling good about what was accomplished. And I'm on the mend!
Completed the 10mi winter virtual yesterday with some of my favorite
Looking forward to next weekend's Ann Arbor half-marathon and then a well deserved recovery week. :-)
19 More weeks till Ironman Ohio 70.3!
