We are looking forward to race day on 10/10! It’s always a wonderful event that brings the community together while shedding light on these nonprofits who do amazing work!

🎃🏁One of the nonprofit organizations on the following list will be selected by this year’s overall race winner to receive the donation of race net proceeds. A few of our previous years’ recipients have been ADEC, Stable Grounds, Inc., Middlebury Food Pantry and Ryan's Place. Be an event sponsor, buy a racer kit & race a pumpkin or make a donation on Race Day; all will help increase the amount of the donation to one of the organizations! 🎃🏁

Before the climbing, sliding, and feeding the very hungry caterpillar comes the read aloud. We all know how important reading and being exposed to books is for young minds. How do we keep those young minds interested and on task when it comes to literacy? Bouncing on the doggies to feed the pelicans (after unlocking doors to get the “food”) requires many skills a child will need to thrive in kindergarten. A few of them being core strength to simply sit in a chair for a long period of time, hand-eye coordination to complete simple tasks, and bilateral coordination needed to hold a worksheet still with one hand and write with the other hand, or tying shoes. Another huge skill is problem solving, which they will need everyday in the big world of kindergarten!
