SPORTS ALERT: We just iced the 2028 NCAA DIII Men’s Hockey National Championship! 🏒🏅🎉

Thanks to our partners Danielle Whitmore Harris at Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and Andrew Joudrey at Legacy 20 for working with us on a winning bid to bring this first-class event to Bob Suter's Legacy20 Arena Middleton on March 23-25, 2028.

It’s the first time this championship has been hosted in the Madison area and a true testament to Wisconsin’s reputation for winning hockey schools, fantastic facilities and enthusiastic crowds that come out to support athletes, families and fans. This event will bring nearly $740,000 to our local economy and adds to our resume of hosting high-caliber competitions in the capital city. Mark your calendars!

Pay it forward for Pops: Local NHL star Ryan Suter carries on late father's legacy MIDDLETON, Wis. (WKOW) -- In 2013, Madison native and NHL star Ryan Suter joined the ownership group of the Madison Capitols, the same year they became a USHL member club.

Thrilled to announce the development of Deforest Yards and rebrand of Bob Suter’s Legacy20 Arena Middleton!

Opening in 2025 and developed by Cascade Development, Deforest Yards is a state-of-the-art mixed-use housing and entertainment district that will offer a variety of sporting, recreational, and community events.

Amenities include Legacy20 Arena Deforest, equipped with a 2500 sq. ft training center, an indoor/outdoor bar and patio, and an outdoor arena that will host hockey during the winter months and convert to a community space in the summer for markets, fitness programs, family and corporate events, and live music.
