We host various programs throughout the year to provide opportunities for players to improve their game, athleticism, skills and most importantly, to have fun!

This is a 6-week development program designed specifically for beginner hockey players who are ready to build on what they’ve learned. It’s a great bridge between Intro to Hockey and full team play next season. Players will be grouped by skill level and will continue developing skating fundamentals, puck control, passing and overall hockey awareness — all in a fun, supportive and low-pressure environment.

We are proud to share a spotlight on our last-year Bantam players. This month, we’re featuring Jonathan, #40!
How many years have you been playing hockey with the Blades?
5 seasons.
What is your favorite memory playing for the Blades?
Winning the championship my first season with the Bantams.
Do you plan to continue playing hockey in high school?
Yes, I am currently on my high school’s JV team.
Who is your favorite NHL player and why?
Drew Commesso. He was the goaltender for the 2022 Olympic team and also played for BU. I met him the night BU won the hockey east championship. He and his teammates signed my hat. It was awesome!
What is one piece of advice you’d give to younger Blades players just starting out?
Never give up and keep playing hockey.
Besides hockey, what are your hobbies and favorite activities?
Skiing, fishing, boating, watching football and playing video games.
What will you miss the most about playing with the Blades?
I’ll miss seeing my friends that don’t go to the same high school as me.
