What does it take to become a member of "Miami Valley" ?
To become a permanent member you must first be a temporary member. -To become a temporary member, you must attend four meetings as a visitor. The first meeting you go to, request a temporary membership application. - You must attend 3 club functions and 3 work details specified by the newsletter. You MUST have your temporary membership application signed by an officer verifying attendance. - At the fourth main meeting, you can become a temporary member, if accepted by the majority of club members by vote. Vote will be taken by secret ballot. - You will then serve a 6 month probationary period beginning with the date you became a temporary member. - You will then pay yearly dues as determined by the trustees after the probationary period has been served and you are voted upon and accepted as a permanent member at the first meeting after your probationary period has ended. We do have a permanent membership limit. If the permanent membership is full, you will be put on a waiting list. More on the membership subject will be discussed with you at the meeting.
