Orange County Fair Speedway the 5/8 mile hard clay track located in Middletown, NY. Home of the historic Eastern States Weekend.
Orange County Fair Speedway is the oldest continuously operating dirt track in the United States. It was constructed in 1857 for horse racing at the annual Orange County Fair. Jack Lehner became a first-time winner at OCFS on Anniversary Night Sunday August 9th. It was the 1,584th Stock Car event held since 1948. In the Speedway's history it's had many different winners. What number different winner was Jack.? The first correct answer is worth a party deck table for four.... for the Big Series 3 event on September 20th. That is Champion's Night presented by SRS Projects in memory of the colorful local racer Henry Sharp!

Thanks to Floyd Storms Painting Contractor here in Middletown NY. He added $100 to tonight's payout in honor of his childhood local racing hero Stan Sherman. A quick 50 bucks was added to the winner's share of both the Modified and Sportsman classes. Stan had competed in both divisions and was the 1967 Orange County Fair Speedway Sportsman Point Champion.
