Another successful WOW training class this morning. If you want guaranteed results, you need to either take this class or train with me 1 on 1. Getting in shape isn't as hard as everyone thinks. You literally just have to master the stability ball. That's it! After that, move onto Olympic weightlifting to accelerate those results and become as fit or fitter than most athletes who compete in traditional sports. Lets not overthink this process. I have people from all walks of life in this class and they all have a path forward. For some the stability ball is enough for them to keep working at while others need to graduate to weightlifting, but we're all one big happy family over here. Lol!

Just a quick glimpse into my WOW program at the Soundview Ymca in Branford. What separates this class from all others is the use of the stability ball. Getting in shape is really simple. Just master stability! The ball offers a wide variety of ways to train your muscles to stabilize the body, thus improving neuromuscular efficiency and your ability to GET RESULTS!!! These participants are learning how stabilizing the body immediately leads to maximal strength. Lifting 100lbs off the floor, aka kettlebell deadlifts, are a great way to demonstrate how anybody can start lifting heavy if they know how to use their muscles properly. Its all about the form and technique!

If you have a stability ball at home, you have the single most effective piece of equipment money can buy, and yet most people never use it. Why? It takes a specific technique in order to use the ball effectively and most people are simply unaware. This video should shed some light on this technique, but if you feel like you could use more guidance, DM me! Dumbbells and barbells and foam rollers, OH MY! I thought this was a beginners' class?
Dont let the heavy weights fool ya. This isn't a normal exercise class. The objective is to teach you proper lifting mechanics, not put you through the ringer like a boxer in a boxing match. No. This is therapy. This is form correction. This is about learning how to leverage your own bodyweight to lift heavy objects without risk of injury. This is also a multi skill level class, so not everyone is ready for the big weights yet.

When I first started💁♂️ telling people the secret to getting in really good shape🏋 really quickly and easily, they didnt believe me. Not because it didnt make sense🤯, but because it sounded too good to be true! 🧐
The problem with this secret is that people underestimate its power,🤯 that is until they start feeling and seeing the results. 💪That's when all the problems disappear and a whole new world opens up to you. More Leg raise variation, except this one works in the opposite direction. Instead of flexing the hips and abs, this one is extending them. Why? Because working the abs too much without an equal amount of strengthening of the "rear kinetic chain" causes imbalances such as excessive upper back rounding. Still a leg raise, just extension instead of flexion.

In this video, we have 2 variations of the leg raise. 1 is your standard leg raise with hands behind head. 2 is a variation called Ceiling Kicks which gets your chest, arms and upper back in on the action!
