Congratulations to Sanjay Subramanian on getting his C badge Sunday 8/15/2021! After a skillfully executed a flight of over one hour and 15 minutes, Sanjay returned to earth in his trusted 1-26 (24) to collect his just rewards.
Due to increased concern with the recent uptick in Covid-19 cases we are no longer able to offer rides to the public.

We are happy to be able to announce that we will be opening our operations to the public starting June 5th 2021.
At Valley Soaring Club we hold the health and safety of our members, staff and guests paramount. As a result we are implementing the following phased opening.
o Guests are required to wear masks when in close proximity to others not in their group
o Demo passengers are required to wear masks while in the aircraft
o Demo passengers are required to show proof of FULL vaccination.

o Temperatures will be taken on the field. Individuals that appear to be running a fever will be asked to leave
We believe by following these reasonable precautions, we’ll be able to get back to enjoying and sharing our sport again.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will adjust these policies as conditions change. In the meantime let’s get out and fly!

Despite the slow down due to COVID, congratulations to our newest solo pilot David Kramer! We took advantage of the unusually mild weather and cut David loose on Sunday.
Great job on first solo, followed by congrats from CFI-G "Uncle" Hank Nixon and a suspicious looking CFI-G Bob Rippstein with bucket of water.

Its nice to say that we are slowly getting back to the joy of soaring.
Unfortunately we are operating on a very limited basis. We are currently unable to offer rides to the public. Please contact us before coming out. We hope to be fully operational just as soon as we can do so safely.
