A nice video explaining the history and benefits of the seiza kneeling posture, which we practiced tonight while bowing in and out of Aikido class. Interesting!
A note that Wesleyan Aikido Club now meets at 7:30 pm on Mondays due to the Wrestling Team's fall schedule. Go Cardinals!
Class is on for tonight, Oct. 8, 6:30 to 7:30 pm. If you'd like to drop in and try Aikido, please wear a t-shirt and long sweatpants or yoga pants. Any kind of martial arts uniform is also perfect. Hope to see you on the mat for some fun and challenging Aikido practice!
